Shay Alexi Stewart-Willis is a multidisciplinary creative and communications specialist.

As the Multichannel Marketing and Production Strategist for the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, Shay spends their days serving grassroots activists on the frontlines of the human rights movement. They spearhead art direction and narrative strategy while producing graphic design,videos, and journalistic blog content. They are a proud union member and serve as an officer for UNITE HERE! Human Rights Workers, Local 2661.

Shay is an author, and their first full-length poetry collection, Unbridled (Game Over Books), was nominated for Georgia Author of the Year. Their poetry has been featured by WUSSY Magazine, Ninth Letter, and Apogee Journal, among others. Videos of their performance poetry have garnered over 5 million views.

A passionate collaborator, Shay regularly freelances for mission-driven organizations and artists, providing graphic design services and brand strategy. They’ve previously worked with Andrew McMeel Publishing, Garden Party Collective, Philosophy Media Group, and other clients.

Shay holds a Master's in Strategic Communication from Agnes Scott College, where they received the Sara Wilson Glendinning Journalism Award. They have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting.
